This is on point. IMHO - this is a symptom of a far deeper problem. If/When I show up as my real authentic self the people who matter don’t mind…. and the people who mind don’t matter. The key is to show up authentically… independent of the good or bad opinions of others.

I appreciate your insight. This is a topic I was contemplating on my way to work, Friday and venting about to my friend. So for the rest of the work day, I examined where I was possibly putting on a facade as to not upset “higher ups”

What could a coping mechanism be for people who have Immediate family they have cut off? Family that are showing same trigger behaviors of narcissistic personality traits.
I’ve broken out of that system but there’s no sense of accountability on that side. Is there a neurological reason as to why that is? Or is it just behavioral?
