Okay so my best friend that has been my friend for 10 years does this. Whole the time. Ever since I know her-

Actually I have a reason to be like this in a way. One I am not rude to people who don’t have power per say but if they’re beneath me I know my place and they should know there’s(this due to them being rude to me). The only reason I do this is because I don’t have many good friends to which I always ask for assignments or homework when needed. Besides that they’re the friends you don’t talk to out of school. Gossip is quite normal, of course I talk about how disrespectful everyone is. So being fake nice and happy has become a natural reaction. Yes, if this is a recurring thing with no reasoning such as also disrespect peers, then yes that’s when you definitely should be concerned.
