There are numerous sparkling springs, waterfalls, lakes, caves, caverns, and sinkholes throughout the Ozark region (also known as karstic landforms). There are also a lot of man-made sites, such the Lake of the Ozarks.

The city of Lake Ozark, located just south of the Bagnell Dam that impounds the Osage River, is one of the greatest base camps for activity. The largest city near the Lake of the Ozarks is Osage Beach, which is located six miles south of Lake Ozark.

The majority of people that call the Ozark region home are of English, Scots-Irish, and German ancestry, and the Ozark families from which the region's culture emerged have typically called the region home since the 19th century.

He didn't say a word about party cove, strip clubs, the corrupt local politicians and their road pirate henchmen. Nor did he say a word about the good spots to fish and hunt or to hike at say Ha Ha Tonka state park and that the cove there has spring flowing into that makes the water on a hot summer day not feel like bath water.
