Screw human connection.. Working from home is the first time I’ve ever felt human.

It’s not about collaborating - it’s about control and abusing people. We have shown we will go above and beyond the call of duty for the right to be flexible! Who wants to sit in commute traffic again? Who wants to pats for insane parking meters, fines, and the waste of time? It’s about filling up office space for the real estate mobsters 😡 We are still going to buy stuff - just don’t need your stupid buildings. Fill them with the homeless! You could actually solve a problem and be decent! Take the donations and government assistance from Biden and the likes of Newsom 🤬

The truth is they are afraid they will be irrelevant...

They want you couped up and under their thumb . When we wfm we find that jobs don't take 8 hours to complete and people are starting small businesses, side hustles etc and they are mad. I started going to college online and before wfh I felt I had NO time . I wouldn't get home until almost 7 after sitting in traffic . Now I'm home and free by 5 and that gives 2 hours for school work.

Life in the office is high school drama, wasting time until 5 pm. Life at home is 8-7. Write that as a song.

Company “culture” is another word for gossip and office politics and the occasional free meal. I’ll stick with wfh

We were happy. They want us to be miserable and unhappy slaves. Go back into traffic and long commutes, etc.

They want the real estate tax write off! Too bad! If your boss tells you that you have to return to the office, then find a job that will let you work remotely and as soon as you get it email your boss and tell him to give the job to his mother.

"Company culture"? Why do we have to breath the same air, share toilets/microwave, and commute to do exactly what we've been doing at home? The cost of gas alone makes it not worth it. Some employees have not had to pay for childcare and others have been able to get healthy due to more sleep and better food choices. I remember getting sick at least twice a year, I haven't even sneezed since being at home. If my company ever decides to have us go back in, I'm out! Too many choices now.

"Life after the pandemic.." thats the problem. The pandemic is still here and its not anywhere near under control. Its this narrative that is causing the confusion!

u dont need human connection. it’s about being productive right? why now are we emphasizing the connection aspect? im sitting at my cubicle right now and the most i’ve said to anyone all day was “you’re fine” when someone apologized for cutting in front of me at the vending machine .

If you can do your job on a computer without needing to directly interact with others, there isn't really any reason you can't do your job from home . My hospital had the Radiology IT staff move to remote working and there hasn't been any decrease in the work we are able to get done. If someone needs help, they call me on my cell phone, just like they did when I was working from the hospital. I remote into my computer that is setup at the Hospital. If there are jobs that require us to be on site, then we go in . I used to have an office in the basement, but that space has been converted over to another dept, so even if they decided that we needed to come back, there isn't a spot for us to sit currently .

Im injures AF! I'm finally about to look for work and now they want to go back..ugh! I need a work from home job that doesn't require me to do 9-5 nor a weekly schedule. This will be tough to find. But, I believe there are opportunities like this for us disabled veterans. 🙏🙏🙏🇺🇲❤🇺🇲

Company culture would start with professionalism. People who are not eager to return to office desks are most likely not thrilled to be on the company with their coworkers and bosses more than with their families.

New lady it's not where you want it or not. We do have choices.
