All so very true. And the remedy is not to try harder, as many might think, but to humble ourselves and say we are weak. Then ask and believe the Lord will strengthen us to get back up, move up that hill and turn back to the Lord and His righteousness. We are more than conquerors, hupernikao. Even our willing hearts will fail at times but the Lord strengthens us to keep going and finish the race. 😊

wow! The Grace of God is amazing. Thank you for this pastor Kim. I worried so much of backsliding and works wanting to be perfect made me to trust in works instead of Just believing in Jesus Christ. I forgot that the Grace of God is sufficient for me. Thank you so much!

Very timely message, praise God. For anyone anxious about backsliding I recommend the book The Backslider: His Nature, Symptoms, and Recovery (1840) by Andrew Fuller.

This really opened my eyes on backsliding. I'm so grateful for you and this teaching. Your chart made me realize the path I took after my parents' divorce caused me great anger and I turned to marijuana. I am throwing it all away and never going back.
