You can afford a 1000 mo payment but you shouldn't buy a car that expensive 😅

Been following the car market for awhile. It’s nice to see you’re covering this.

Unfortunately, weather we like or not, most of us cannot afford most cars. The dealerships won’t make money if they tell everyone buy used cars under $15k

What’s crazier than the prices is people are buying it all up… I see more dealer tags and new cars driving off the lot like it’s going outta style

What does this question matter when we now live in a time when you can not buy ANY new car for less than 20k? 10K more and you're finally in the realm of Car Shopping. 30k is beyond the 95% er's in this country. And with all the other costs of living today, the "affordability" of a car would be like 15k.

The only car I bought through loan is Cadi Elr, it was my dream car. The rest of my fleet is bought either from auction or marketplace. But you git to know how to maintain it, saves lots of money. My annual parts spending is usually lower than the average monthly lease payment

If you have bad credit, expect to pay 18-30% interest.

I have no qualms about Tesla dropping their prices. If you follow the company, you knew they were going to do this to their car prices if anything we should be applauding them for keeping their promise.

My "car" (truck) was $14k. I still feel like it was more than I can afford. It's a 2006. That works out to about $1, 050 per year, including service.

Is it true that if you pay cash the dealers are more reluctant to give you a discount as opposed to taking a loan? Because the dealers make money from the loan (get their cut) as opposed to just paying the whole sum right away.

It feels weird to call out Tesla for lowering prices when the entire point of the video is car prices are too high. Yes reselling a car becomes more difficult when the new cars are cheaper, but that's not really an issue unless you overextended yourself in the first place.
