The first Alien is one of my favorite movies of all time, so this is easily my most anticipated movie of next year. Yes, I'm excited for The Dark Knight Rises, The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey, and The Avengers, but if I could only see one film next year, it would most definitely be this. I am so excited that Ridley Scott is returning as director, and I can not wait to see what unique directions he takes this film and just how he ties it into the original Alien.

I started watching this movie with no expectations. I had never heard of it at all. This movie was probably the greatest movie that I've seen in the last 5 years. Simply amazing. Relax and watch it on 'Popcornfreak'.

Some time later however it was confirmed that while the movie will take place in the same universe as Alien, and greatly reference that movie, it will, for the bigger part, be an original movie and not a direct prequel.
