I've found with multi-part models that once you've glued the parts together, you can actually "paint" wet resin into the joins and once cured it hides the joins nicely- sometimes even eliminating the need to fill them in with greenstuff in many cases. Also seems to create a stronger bond between the two parts! (note: if cracks are very big or wide, repeat in several passes gradually so each layer properly cures to bond them.)

loved my epax x10 & got it because of your my screen went out, it was a nightmare to replace, had to replace the motherboard, and still having issues with prints with supports since replacement anddd I've only got about $500 worth out of a 1, 200 printer.

I think the reason for the bolts being on the printer and not on the nuts will help prevent scratching the mono screen. Most mono screens don't have glass. Scratching the screen can cause quality issues. Since you have to lift straight up, and can't slide it across the screen.

I am worried that the VAT holding with the threaded screw surface will be worn out and enlarged due to the sawing effect removing and installing the VAT and over time not being able to insert centered, Other than that I would love to see how the the detail on prints compare between this, the 5K version and a Phrozen Sonic Mini 4k.

Another great option for a mid size printer. Would you say it's better to upgrade the Frozen Transform to a 4k mono screen or to grab one of these mid size machines? On another note, I see your in Henrietta, I went to RIT and graduated with my degree in photography. I loved it up there.

great review on the epax e10. now epax is selling the epax e10 & x10-8k 10.1'' mono lcd 3d printer. a lot of people complain about removing the vat and spilling the resin. why not 3d print covers for your vats to prevent resin from spilling over when removing it from the printer?

Does it have an integrated carbon air filter like many of its compteitors? It's kind of a must.

As an owner of the X10 with an 8.9" mono screen, I was so confused at first until I heard you say E10 again. I would love to hear the printer running to see if the blower is as loud as the one on the X10. That thing is spectacularly loud, but if you don't mind taking apart practically the entire machine it can be replaced. And that price... God bless Elegoo is all I have to say on that. And I do love my X10 but screen replacements right now are a pain and I've have mine since June or July...hard to tell with 2020 being what it is, my screen hasn't completely died but it was pretty much unusable after a couple of pumpkins I printed for halloween and my use hasn't been any heavier than my LD-002R running with a replacement RGB screen so that is something to be aware of. And last I checked, Epax is offering replacement screens for about the same cost as the pre-order for the E10. Thankfully you can source replacements from Chitu's aliexpress store for anyone needing a replacement or looking to get one ahead of time in preparation for the day when the screen dies. That is, provided the screen hasn't changed between the X10 and the E10.

Hold off and do the new Phrozen Sonic Mighty 9.3" 4K Mono in your comparison tests! I ordered the Sonic Mini 4K and Sonic Mighty 4K together with their new Luna mid sized Curing Station.

That Gwenom statue really is absolutely spectacular😲. I MUST HAVE IT. Don’t, nor can I afford a 3D printer so would be soo awesome if I could buy the complete statue somewhere?
If not then I’ll have to see if I can get it printed off at my university.

Very cool demo! I see prices are coming down for bigger resin printers which is great. The site mentions it doesn't include shipping on any of the pre-orders so I'm wondering how much more that tacks on.
