I came to US from Europe almost 30 years ago, I stayed on green card all this time, always thought I wasn’t good enough to deserve American citizenship, I love America, and its people, it’s my home, just as much as the place I came from almost 30 years ago … and it really hurts me and makes me sad watching all this going on in US today, I remember back in a day, New York, the Big Apple, in all its glory, I had a friend who visited New York while I was a kid, and stories he was telling about NYC and America, and me listening and soaking in every word with my eyes wide open, dreaming about some day, see it in person … this today what’s going on with our southern border, and our Cities across US is very sad … my daughter is 16 and American born and raised, and I wish she could see what America was like 30 - 40 years ago
