The problem is Agents. How on earth did it come to people like Martial and Luke Shaw treating a club as a nursing home and getting full pay for years? Their pay should be based on performance and attendance like anybody else's is. If me, or Simon did not turn up for work continually and when we was in work not meet standards we would be gone. They should be able to get rid with some pay in lieu pay like anyone else.

Wingers like Garnacho are easy to find so I would happily let him go. He's not the most intelligent and is just a runner with not much technical skill. Mainoo on the other hand should remain without a doubt.

I can see Garnacho go. But there is no way United will sell Mainoo unless a crazy bid comes in.

Can everyone stop for a moment and have a rethink about the sources of the Mainoo story. It’s clearly made up BS

PSR forcing clubs to sell academy players is one of the biggest jokes ever

The issue will be once they clear out a few players they will overpay for replacements.

We MUST build the team around Mainoo and start to bring the youngsters through. But Mainoo and Garnacho we must keep.

Mark Goldbridge and other United fans suggesting 100m for mainoo is absolutely ludicrous

Why would they sell Mainoo? That can't be right...

Simple tell rashford if he doesn't lower his wage for loan move, put him in the reserves for remainder of his contract

Oh look - Simon Jordan having daft opinions on Manchester United.

The guy is a weapon!

Why would they even think it would be a good idea to say this out loud?

I'm done with Ineos if they remove Mainoo. It's not that lads fault or the fans that we're in debt

Man Utd are actually cutting costs because when you look at it they might have spent over £160 million in the summer but they actually received about 80 odd million by selling players

Has anyone actually got a source for this information? Personally, I have not seen where it has directly come from and think it's made up for disruption and negotiation. There is no way the club sells Kobbie or Garnacho right now.

Man, utd fans have hyped mainoo. He hasn't proved anything! Amorim wants to make immidiate changes to the club. He wants world class players to achieve results. Mainoo is certainly no class at the moment!

I'd be surprised if they sell Mainoo, who from a mentality and talent standpoint has been one of the only bright sparks they've had. Along with Hojlund, Amad and Maguire, Mainoo has been one of the only players who seems to have been pushing for improvement.

Garnacho - sell. One trick pony who runs fast, cuts in and shoots. Poor end product, poor attitude, not a team player.
Rashford - sell. Once bright prospect who has wasted his opportunity.
Fernandes - sell. Great first 18 months at the club. Has picked and chosen when to seem interested ever since.
Dalot - sell. Simply not very good. Runs up and down the wing a lot, but is more miss than hit.
Martinez - move to midfield. Undersized, under strength in central defense. Would be ok with blistering pace, but while not slow - not blistering. Good on the ball, good driving forward and tenacious. Play him in midfield.

Seling the 4 above should give 150+ million for Amorim to spend on players who fit the vision better, and the Garnacho and Rashford money is pure profit from a balance sheet standpoint - Dalot may also be at this point since he was acquired a number of years ago and his signing fee would have depreciated out by now.
