One of my uncles died in Germany in 1945 (I never got to meet him) he was my mother's closet brother she never really got over it. Her other 5 brothers all fought and returned home as did my father. It's strange to realise that this all started just 84 years ago. R.I.P .

This type of video makes me very sad and heartbroken, I can't hold back my tears over the bitter and sweet memories of the soldiers who fought in those days. May they be safe and peaceful in the world of those who have gone forever.😭

I love how after decades, the areas are still preserved. In my county, these hills, hovels and shorelines would be replaced with sport bars, grocery stores, arenas or condominiums.
