0:00 Intro
08:05 Gyms were placed in the same C*V!D restriction category as restaurants.
12:10 Exercise is a potent immune enhancer. Risk/benefit should have been weighed. There is always risk.
14:05 Working out at the gym helps build immunity to fight C*V!D.
14:35 You can’t just take a vaccine that it will protect you 100%. You have to do everything you can to support your immune system.
15:22 Exercise enhances the eradication of dysfunctional cells within the immune system.
16:27 The number one risk factor for severity in C*V!D is obesity.
22:53 The prevention message of health is not being given.
29:48 Epsom salts may have anti-inflammatory factors and most likely decreases your overall inflammatory load.
33:45 Get outside first thing in the morning and get some sun.
40:20 Patients with gut pain are common in the ER. This pain can often be prevented with diet and lifestyle.
41:40 Many of us resist ownership of our medical issues since we think of our medical problems as defining us; as something outside of ourselves.
43:40 Screening tests can lead to unnecessary invasive testing and procedures.
49:40 The Pfizer C*V!D vackseen has been shown to prevent serious illness, hospitalization and death. Data from Israel shows that the vackseen reduces transmission from person to person.
51:25 If you have vaccine side effects, it may be a sign that your immune system is being awakened and creating antibodies.
51:47 It is estimated that 5 x as many people had C*V!D as the number reported.
52:05 Antibodies last 6 to 8 months.
52:25 If you’ve had C*V!D, you may only need one dose of the vackseen.
58:20 A booster of the newer generation C*V!D vaccine may boost your titers against variants.
01:02:34 Dr. D. wishes that he had begun cooking for himself and having a wind down technique at night years ago.
01:04:28 Dr. D’s public health elevator speech: Insurance companies need to incentivize exercise and fitness.

I've been saying the same thing, take care of your body and it will take care of you

I'm 71 YO male and fairly fit. I can remember when the obese or overweight persons were the exceptions - very few at schools or stores. Back in the 50's and 60's we didn't have the fitness clubs everywhere like they are now. Children and grownups both had much more physical activities. Fast foods were not everyday meals.
Just take a walk through any Mall or grocery store and look at people. If the current trend continues - many will not be able to fit through doors or walk.
Just recently spent a day at a large medical university. My estimation would be that 90% of the thousands of people I saw were obese or overweight.
Sedentary lifestyles and social media are part of the issue.
Sugar (from whatever source) is the major issue not only for weight but also for many other common ailments.
MD's for the most part preach low fat/high carb diets and try to medicate every ailment with Big Pharma drugs.
AND YET, the trend continues.
Health is a lifestyle that cannot be obtained through Big Pharma.

I live in South Central LA. Our hospitals have extra sized stretchers and hospital doors. And yet politicians preach that health care is about access in the poor areas. Lets discuss obesity epidemic in LA

I’m very happy that in Louisiana the gyms closed for a short time when the original freak out happened but stayed open 24-7 ever since. All the state parks fishing and wildlife areas stayed open also for outside activities. Our governor encouraged everyone to do home improvements and yard work in order to get out and soak up some sun. ALSO: A John Hopkins study put out last week says that Florida and California were almost identical with COVID cases and deaths per had no government mandated lockdowns.

exactly. In the UK, the National Health Service should really be called the National Sickness Service because all it does is manage crisis, rather than encourage people to take responsibility for their own optimised health.

Excellent interview. Thank you.
I feel sorry for anyone living in California. I went to graduate school in Los Angles. I live in Arizona today. No lockdown here except for in the beginning of the pandemic.
There are more advanced health and longevity groups OUTSIDE of California. We have fantastic hiking, rock climbing, etc.

I have been saying this all along. It seems like we didn't hear anything about maintaining health during the pandemic. It was totally overlooked. Thank you for this video.

Thank you for all your informative videos. As you mentioned, building up our immune system with exercise and nutrition is so important during these crazy times.

Thank you for mentioning the school lunches. I totally agree, if schools would focus on offering healthier nutrition, our kids would be much healthier!!

I think it’s very important that we not depend on gyms. Get outside. The best exercises outside are climbing trees, digging holes for trees, walking, I can go on and on. But if you have a gym go for it but parks are great in more ways than one.

Just because we can prevent more disastrous outcomes does not stop our responsibilities to our daily maintenence to out health.

Allopathic medicine (modern MD medicine) and pharmaceuticals are great for trauma and acute care. It's just the wrong methods of treatment for chronic and preventative care. Drugs and surgery are being used to treat diet & lifestyle illnesses

Probably not drinking alcohol or doing drugs would be the easiest way to reduce risk of going to the ER

I like the idea of Salutogenics. Let's focus on increasing wellness and better health instead of just preventing and curing disease and poor health.

In our country same problem is with pools. They are on purpose deprivining ordinary people of basic way to do fitness and stay healthy. It's not only depressing but also distressing 😡

Love this so much! I also take epsom salt baths regularly. At least 3 times/week. I am a fitness instructor and I take them after I teach PiYo. The muscle recovery is amazing.

Thanks for introducing me to Dr. Daignault. I agree with all he brought out during the interview except for his vaccine perspectives. However I strive to listen to diversity on most topics to challenge and strengthen my understanding. Diet, activity and rest are the mantra and they are a dynamic target for each of us over time. Thanks for the interview 👏👏
