Local police reported person with rangefinder to Secret Service before assassination attempt

The Homeland Security Inspector General is launching an investigation into the Secret Service's handling of security at the Trump rally where an assassination attempt occurred. NBC News' Tom Winter has the latest reporting and former Secret Service special agent Evy Poumpouras joins Chris Jansing to share her expertise.

This whole thing is strange. It's like one group (SS) assumed the other group (local police) took care of the perimeter security and vice versa, neither either group bothered to get confirmation from each other if that was done. The result was that neither group did what they were supposed to do.
