Such a fantastic list of favorites! I was disappointed in Book Lovers. I think two things happened to me. First, I was so hyped to read it that the bar was so high. Next, I read Half-Blown Rose right before reading Book Lovers and that book stole my heart. I do find myself thinking about Book Lovers with a smile so maybe I will grow to love it.

Thank you for the wonderful list. I'm afraid that I can only say that I have one 5 star book so far this year (amazing out of about 20 or so that I have read since Jan) and that is fiction book that Ros from Scalldandling suggested. It is: The House of Brede by Rumor Godden. She was a new author to me but once I looked her up I wondered if I had been living under a rock! I have suggested it to several other booktubers and they have said, Yep, read it last year and it was fabulous!!! Anyway, should you get the hankering for and astonishing book, well researched, well written and deeply understanding book please give it a try. Thanks again
