Your description of When a Scot Ties the Knot 🤣, such a guilty pleasure read.
Hope you're feeling better. I got covid for the first time too last month and it left me with bouts of fatigue gor a couple weeks after.

I finished Unequal Affections today and was very pleasantly surprised by it! Especially the Elizabeth speech you mentioned. Also loved the Wickh*m ending xD

I’ve had an arc of the new Warsan Shire since the beginning of the year and I still haven’t read it!! Thank you for reminding me

I completely agree that everyone should read Kindred! I was introduced to it 20 years ago in a women's studies course, and it was the only book I did not sell back from the course at the end of the term. I re-read it last year and loved it just as much, then shared it with my 90 year old grandmother. Glad you are feeling better - have a great day!

After you did a review of “Cecily, ” I decided I had to have it. I purchased it from the UK and received it recently. Since you enjoyed “Love and Fury.” I was able to purchase an ebook copy through Amazon. It really sounds so good. I own three other books you mentioned in this video, but I haven’t read them yet. One of my university degrees is in history so I really enjoy the history books you highlight. It is nice to have someone with similar tastes in books. I haven’t read a romance novel since the late 1980s. I wouldn’t know where to start. Glad to hear you are better. Take care and thank you for all the recommendations.
