Every time I hear about another piece of anti LGBT legislation I become more anxious. I wonder if this will be the one that sends me and my family back into hiding. Or will it be the one that my home state uses to prevent me from giving affirming care to my clients.

In the wake of the more recent news about certain bills in Florida and a school district that has (again) hit the news because of their less than progressive mandates, my inbox is flooded with people wanting to know what they should do. So I did what I do, and I made a video about it.

I never usually comment on anything because of my social anxiety. But your the first youtuber I follow who has said anything about this. I was personally upset about this one because in 2016 I came out to my friends and then soon after was outed to everyone else at school. Thank God the staff and my peers were so supportive and for the next 3 years my high school became my safe space. Without that one place in the world I could go to and be myself everyday I don't know If I'd be here. It's so upsetting to me because now kids who are like me and have school as their safe place can get that taken away. Now where are they going to get that. I wanted to say something here because I don't have anyone in my life now who would understand personally why this is so upsetting. Sorry to unpack on you but your the only person I know (not that I know you personally) who genuinely seems upset about this. Thanks for listening -Liah
