i really like that mr. house doesn’t say “i don’t hate them, they’re simply in my way”. he doesn’t hate the ncr and insists you don’t harm caesar out of pragmatism, but he genuinely hates the brotherhood due to their obsession with technology, ironically an obsession he also possesses.

The ncr does have power armor actually they just removed the wires making it extremely heavy

Not exactly. All of the Paladins were screaming at Elijah that the NCR was coming and they needed to move, suggesting a defensive battle in the rocks leading to Hidden Valley. Instead, Elijah had them remain to defend Helios One... which is down hill and open to attack from all sides.

They had no illusions about how that battle would go if they didn't fall back.

Legion have won against BoS too, scrapped their power armor and gave it to the prethorians.

Unfortunately my 1 INT courier didn't understand all of those big words and just killed House instead, but wiped out the brotherhood of steel because they look spooky

I know it is due to worldbuilding but i like to imagine that House's disdain towards Bos is obsidian's jab at the faction's over importance in later games.

i legit overthrew mcnamara to replace hardin only to load up an older save because i want a BoS-NCR truce

BOS: preserves technology.
NCR: uses technology to their advantage in many different ways
Legion: smelts and destroys technology in order to make weaponry and vehicles from the scraps
