I grew up calling myself a secular Jew. I didn’t read and study our own Bible when I was younger. I was very ignorant and thought that all I had to do was get ‘bar mitzvad’ and nothing else. I listened to the witticisms of rabbis and was told that Catholicism is true Christianity. I was told that if we shared the Bible with gentiles, we wouldn’t be a special minority anymore. When I started reading and studying the Bible including the ‘new’ Testament, I realized how much I had been lied to and deceived. I came to the conclusion that you have. I understand who and why we were given Yahshua, and I don’t hold to any label anymore, but if you want to be accurate, true Christians and true Jews should be one Faith, the only true Faith, and to me, all who follow Yahshua are Israelites ( Bn’ai Yisrael, children of Israel, branches on the olive tree representing Jacob/Israel as in Romans 11). The ‘old’ testament is so alive in the ‘new’ testament. Yahshua is the living word of Yahweh. Shalom family!
