At 16:00, John Piper reveals that his concept of God's relation to creation is Newtonian. A fundamental paradigm to which followers of Jesus should be adamantly opposed.

So, regarding the demand that we praise God more than anything. Doesn’t it appear, in one sense at least, fairly straightforward? It seems God is merely telling us a very simple truth. Namely, you get what you want. It is as clear as that. And if you want God more than anything else, that is what you get. If you want something more than God – (that is your choice) – and that is what you get.

These are the symptoms of Narcissistic Personality Disorder (NPD), all of which fit the Bible God, Yahweh and Jesus (assuming he is God in the flesh) to a T. Someone who has more than 5 of these symptoms is a Narcissist.

#1. Has a grandiose sense of self-importance, i.e. exaggerates achievements and talents, expects to be recognized as superior without commensurate achievements (All the places in the Bible where the phrase "I am the Lord" appears)

#2. Is preoccupied with fantasies of ideal power, success, love and beauty (Isaiah 45:23, Romans 14:11 & Philippians 2:10)

#3. Believes that he or she is so "special" and "unique" and can only be understood by other high-status quality people or institutions (1 Samuel 2:2, Habakkuk 1:13 & 1 Corinthians 2:14)

#4. Requires excessive admiration (Exodus chapters 25 through 31)

#5. Has a sense of entitlement, i.e. unreasonable expectations of especially favorable treatment or automatic compliance with his or her expectations (Numbers 9:13)

#6. Is interpersonally exploitative, i.e. takes advantage of others to achieve his or her own ends (Exodus 7:3 & 13-14, 10:27, 11:10, 14:4 & 20:5, Deuteronomy 5:6 & 7:2)

#7. Lacks empathy: is unwilling to recognize or identify with the feelings and needs of others (Numbers 11:1-3 & 4-35, 16:49 & 21:4-9)

#8. Arrogant, haughty behaviors or attitudes (Genesis 18:14, Job 38:4 & 31-35, Psalm 19:1 & Jeremiah 32:27)

#9. Jealousy and possessiveness (Exodus 20:5 & 34:14, Deuteronomy 4:24, 5:9 & 6:15, Joshua 24:19, Isaiah 42:8 & 1 Corinthians 6:19-20)

#10. Rage attacks when you do not sufficiently meet his or her needs (Leviticus 10:1-3, Deuteronomy 32:17-25, 2 Samuel 6:6-7 & 24:13, 2 Kings 2:23-24, Isaiah 13:15-16, Hosea 13:16, Matthew 21:12, Mark 11:15, Luke 19:27 & 45-46, John 2:14-15 & Acts 12:23)

#11. Excessive need to feel special, adored, loved, appreciated, or admired (Far too many verses to count!)

#12. Controlling behaviors; tries to control how you spend your time, i.e. how you talk, dress, etc. (Matthew 5:27-28, 1 Corinthians 6:19-20, Ephesians 5:4 & 1 Timothy 2:9-10)

#13. Blaming you for behaviors or feelings, i.e. "YOU made me to it!" or "It's YOUR fault this happened!"
(Entire book of Ezekiel)

#14. An attitude that demonstrates "the world revolves around me" and "you need to cater to my ideas, opinions, thoughts, and feelings." (1 Corinthians 10:31 & Revelation 4:11)

#15. An unwillingness to reflect on his/her own behaviors (All throughout the Bible)

Egomaniacal is just the beginning. He's addicted to praise. Can't get enough adulation. Has all the traits we read about in the definitions of psychopaths. Can't take responsibility. Isn't accountable. Doesn't progress or grow. He's perfectly fine with blaming the wrong person. And the following is fine with him doing this. There's no excuse for bad behavior. Don't make excuses for him, rather hold him responsible.

In some other times Jesus would have become Stalin or Mussolini.
