“Jesus was an EGOMANIAC!” 🤯

“Jesus was an egomaniac!" He told people to worship him and value relationship with him more than any human relationship.

His own words in Matthew 10:37: “Whoever loves father or mother more than me is not worthy of me, and whoever loves son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me.”

So does this make Jesus an EGOMANIAC?

If Jesus was merely a human being, then yes. However, Jesus is not just a human being. He is the eternal, perfect, all-knowing, self-existing God who took on human flesh!

When we see a mountain, we should be in awe of its beauty. Likewise, when we see the eternal God in human flesh, we should prioritize this relationship.

The amazing thing is when we love God first through the Person of Jesus, we are actually in a better position to love other people around us because we won’t idolize them.

I've heard people call God a gaslighting narcissist, and though it caught me off guard since I rightly am put off by those terms. Like your video says, we're putting human terms and labels on THE CREATOR! How dare we judge God by our own standards forgetting it is because of him we are even alive

Some complain that of Jesus had just come out and told people plainly who He was, they would have known and believed, but when He does they don't. All truth is arrogant, narcissistic and intolerant by necessity. Those who despise and denigrate the truth may really only speak for satan.

God is a gentleman. He knocks, waiting, and some point you say "If you are real, if you can, help me." Then gently, like the fingers of dawn, darkness departs, and then you let your desire to be different. That is what it feels like, the end is, "Hey, God is in control. 23 Then Jesus said to his disciples, ‘Truly I tell you, it will be hard for a rich person to enter the kingdom of heaven. 24 Again I tell you, it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for someone who is rich to enter the kingdom of God.’ 25 When the disciples heard this, they were greatly astounded and said, ‘Then who can be saved?’ 26 But Jesus looked at them and said, ‘For mortals it is impossible, but for God all things are possible.’

27 Then Peter said in reply, ‘Look, we have left everything and followed you. What then will we have?’ 28 Jesus said to them, ‘Truly I tell you, at the renewal of all things, when the Son of Man is seated on the throne of his glory, you who have followed me will also sit on twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel. 29 And everyone who has left houses or brothers or sisters or father or mother or children or fields, for my name’s sake, will receive a hundredfold, [d] and will inherit eternal life. 30 But many who are first will be last, and the last will be first."

"10 His disciples said to him, ‘If such is the case of a man with his wife, it is better not to marry.’ 11 But he said to them, ‘Not everyone can accept this teaching, but only those to whom it is given. 12 For there are eunuchs who have been so from birth, and there are eunuchs who have been made eunuchs by others, and there are eunuchs who have made themselves eunuchs for the sake of the kingdom of heaven. Let anyone accept this who can.’"

You could call Yahweh a narcissit. He created humans with a sinful nature predestined to fail in order to save and judge them. Yahweh wanted to pose as a saviour and judge. How could he do this without victims to save and punish? It is very clear that Yahweh is not God.

I'd argue that a perfect god wouldn't suffer people to just bask in its infinite glory like it was some kind of soul propelling TV screen.

If a person (or three) demands worship and love, then I can't think of a better word than egomaniac.

Right, just one problem: nobody can't verify Jesus' actual "Godhood"status. Describing a person "Eternal, Perfect, All-knowing self-existing God who took on human flesh" sound EXACTLY what an egomaniac WANT people to think of them. Also, DEMANDING utmost priority in an a "relationship" is the hallmark of abuse. Have some self-respect and don't drink the Koolaid people.
