For EU residents, Cardmarket is definitely the place to go. Ebay is often expensive, because of high transport costs from US and UK, taxes and duties. Also, we don't have a Pokémon Center in the EU and far less TCG stores than US and UK.

Unfortunately, a lot of card shops that I know currently in my area charge an arm and a leg for packs, ETBs, etc. The only place I know that I can get packs for retail is Best Buy(And Family Dollar, but they usually just have Rebel Clash). And even though I have bought some products online in the past I've been more nervous on buying more online, as I definitely don't want to be a victim of buying fake cards! Scammers are getting smarter these days, you never know who may be legit or not. Especially in places like eBay and Amazon.

Tcgplayer definitely needs a shoutout as well. You can choose verified sellers to buy from and the quality of the cards is specified although I do wish that they were required to always upload pictures. But usually it’s not a problem

I also go to card events, even sports ones, because they also tend to have some Pokémon there too. Two weeks ago I bought two cards, dark machamp and Brock’s ninetails together and haggled for $35 in near mint.

Hay I just wanted to point out that Walmart and maybe target not sure but Walmart allows 3rd party to sell and there have been fakes that way but if it's sold and shipped from Walmart it's always good

There can definitely be some hidden gems shopping LGS' that have an online presence. I mostly just avoid Amazon like the plague. 😎

Facebook marketplace is a great way to sell your bulk cards locally that you have doubles, triples off etc or ones you just dont want. I always easily sell them on there and quick enough when i get heaps i can sell in bulk. Obviously for a reasonable price and not overly expensive but still better then them sitting around collecting dust. And parents alot of the time buy that stuff on there for their kids to just play with or whatever and isnt expensive for them as opposed to buying them new.

Barnes and Noble where I live (Northeast Ohio) tends to have ETBs for way cheap. Two weeks ago they had an astral radiance ETB for 20 bucks!!

I buy from Pokemon Center, next would be the big retailers like Walmart or Target. I've had a bad track record with Amazon. They take back returns and then sell them again. I've received 3 ETBS from amazon completely resealed. And I'm not being picky or anything like that. The packs inside were literally opened already with the rares taken out of them. :(
