Everyone talks about heated steering wheel, But what about air cooled seats for us in Phoenix and other warm area. My Lexus has this and I hope Tesla can add this before I buy my Y later this year.

My Tesla stock gains for this month would pay off my Model Y performance order.

Please let there be a longe range rwd😫 I was so happy that when your ordered the least expensive model y you would actually have the least anxiety range but now with 240 miles that is probably no option anymore for me

They do reinforce the bumper strength for 3rd row configurations, they did for model s owners. But if its just a cargo area better to have crumble zone.

Competition is great, these changes and additions are thanks to cars like the VW ID4.

Heads up, 3rd row seats won’t have the car seat latch, for those hoping to add kids car seats in the 3rd row. Source: Tesla sales rep at the Dublin store in NorCal

The extra seats are super convenient and it looks like you really don’t lose hardly any space V’s 5 seater when they are put down. So much space in such a tight package. I would just wait till they upgrade the center console and add Hepa filter and that car would be perfect in my opinion!

I'm waiting for the Cybertruck. It has much larger interior, significantly greater storage space of 100 cubic feet, payload capacity up to 3, 500 lbs, towing capacity ranging from 7, 500 to 14, 000 lbs depending on the version, air suspension and true off-road capability and many more features. All that coming in at very competitive price points starting at $39, 900 for entry level to $49, 900 for dual motor and $69, 900 for tri-motor version.

Thanks Ryan,
Would love the adaptive air suspension in the Y,

The payment you suggested is for leasing a car, that’s a big difference from owning one. Tesla does not even provide an option to buy the car at the end of the lease.

I only need the 7 seats 4-5 times a year. This sounds perfect for me.

The "Standard Range" is definitely not enough for this kind of money...I would pay $8000, - extra for dual motor and more range...or wait for the rear wheel drive long range..

My 2021 SR+ I picked up in the middle of December has rear heated seat

I guess new Model S/X need a larger charge port door so they have CCS Combo 2 plugs in Europe. And those EMEA matrix headlights too!

Great breakdown of the standard range vs the other models!

Would love to see a video on the Pros and Cons (in your opinion) of a Standard Range Rear Wheel Drive Model Y vs a Long Range Dual Motor All-Wheel Drive Model Y

Good reporting. Re seven-seater: I've seen countless reviews of SUVs and crossovers in which the reviewer laments, "Unfortunately the QXZ is not available with a third row, " about vehicles that clearly don't have the room for it. I guess if you do have little kids to haul around, something like a 3-row Model Y MIGHT work, for a while. But to me they look like the 'rear seat' of a 2+2 sports car: an upholstered pet carrier.

Wonder about heated steering wheel/rear two seats (7-seater), and Supercharging speed. So close. I think I need to wait for the LR RWD 7-seater. Having the standard range 7-seater all loaded up with the entire family plus all of our stuff which will inevitably include some kind of exterior storage device and possibly two (We have a big family), combined with winter temperatures would equal a unacceptably high number of supercharging stops. Definitely going to wait for the long range. So close to exactly what we want. Hopefully that version will come out soon.

They did this because of the ID.4 and the Mach-e! They both get between 230-250mi with the standard range. The ID only has 1 battery. Pure marketing genius by them. There is no need to rush the LR RWD because the AWD is selling so well and heads and shoulders above the others. This is a direct competition for the others.
