I still own a 2017 Model X I bought new. Never been to service center. Only maintenance have been tires. I charge at home with solar. Save $500/month on gas and home electricity. No more oil filters in landfills every 5000 miles. No petrochemical odors in cabin. I recently bought another Tesla, a Model Y. Transferred FSD from X to Y. Wow, FSD has really improved. Definitely a level 3 with minimal intervention needed. I just moved to a new city. It’s a game changer navigating in new surroundings

I could be remembering wrong but i think trump said he would end the "mandate" on day one. The EV mandates are not the insensitive from the inflation reduction act. Honestly ending the mandates would kind of do nothing so who cares.

It may seem minor for some, but that bumper cam allows for that 360 Birds Eye View camera view that so many "non-tech" companies have had for years, and yet Tesla does not, because it cannot stitch it properly without that camera. It is far superior to the guess 360 cam view that is currently available.

There were reports that Elon said the 4680 team had until the end of the year to work out the problems with production of the 4680 cell. Is that true?

Was thinking about buying a model Y right now with the 1.99% offer going on, but after this video I am not sure. If Juniper comes out next year, it might even home with AI5 hardware installed right? That would be a major factor in buying this years model or next years since those hardware jumps are huge for capitalizing on the next few years of software updates.

Since 2019 cars and homes price increases near 50% due to inflation. QE, PPP, etc., pumped money printed from thin air into monetary system causing long term consequences, inflation. More dollars needed to purchase same product. Very difficult to make a $25000 vehicle. Gold $2400/ounce reflecting devalued dollar. Yes, inflation slowing but that just means it’s not climbing as fast. Inflation compounded yearly and we still have terrible inflation. Another 5 trillion dumped onto market 2021. So much dealership LOT ROT as many with debt and no savings. Salary never keeps up with the cost of living, inflation. Sadly, only 10% of people invest to keep above inflation vs others living paycheck to paycheck.

The Japanese in the 60’s on found that if all their production had the same options faster production line vs different options with each car which slowed the line. One reason Japanese cars held their value vs Domestic as there was not really a base car with no options. Tesla doing the same thing. Same with FSD on all cars just software controlled. EV’s will be cheaper and faster to build especially when USA has enough battery factories. Teslas lithium refinery should be on line soon
