absolutely fantastic video!

My advice is, do not use skirting as the same colour of the floor because if gives the impression that the floor is "climbing" the wall.
Instead, always use white skirting (if your walls are white of course) because it will give the impression that the floor is fitted underneath the house structure, looks much nicer.

Hi it was so helpful. Thanks alot. But just a question our room start with same same size of 3 laminate so how should I start the next row?

I am going to use the same click flooring from the living room into the front hallway. Can I continue the flooring from the living room to the hallway or would I need to put a threshold door bar at the door? If the flooring needs to be climatised and I am thinking that because the front hall is generally cooler it would be best to put a threshold bar as there will be less expansion?

Waited with anticipation to see the long cut on narrow planks.Unfortunately of all the videos viewed not one is prepared to show this.I suspect it’s not an easy operation and so is avoided in filming.

Word of advice, pull of your carpet and see whats underneath before taking on this project, especially if your house is pre1980. Check for leveling. If your floor takes a significant amount of leveling then just carpet it. Ive been scraping up old carpet matt that has compressed to my subfloor for 5 days and took around 20 hours. After getting it up, i found an uneven wood subfloor, now im 200 extra dollars in on underlaymemt, and the heavy labor thats involved with that. Clicking boards together is easy, not the prep work.

Luxary vinyl plank with built in Underlay so should I use separate Underlay for it?

Construction of a new house the planks were layed over construction grade pressed board. The only problem a piece of wood was underneath creating a bump. Contractor had to remove plank. He did say laminate planks you would not notice.
