this is perhaps my magnum opus for the summer. i’ve spent years and years learning about planning and productivity - 5 years of bullet journaling, another year with digital planning tools like google calendar, and a lifetime of figuring out how to get more done in less time. if you’re looking to be a more efficient, effective, and productive student/person in general, but you’re also lazy af and love to procrastinate, this advice is for you. hopefully these tips can help you manage your time during school, college, work, and beyond, without being too stressed or losing out on free time.

My ADHD is legit either “I don’t feel like doing anything ever” or “Let me do ALL THE THINGS RIGHT NOW.”

I love that "recovering perfectionist" is becoming a wildly accepted term.

"perfectionist type a people. we tend to spend all of our time planning things and trying to optimize our schedule perfectly instead of actually doing anything that we're planning to do" I RELATE TO THIS ON A SPIRITUAL LEVEL-

Anyone else is recovering from burnt out? I feel like I have a hard time concentrating or giving my work the time it needs to get finished. I feel like I take too many breaks. Funny how I'm more productive at night 😅

I like doing the easier things first because they make me feel accomplished when I finish them which motivates me to do the next task

another tip for the planning section! double the amount of time u think u need. there’s some psychology thing I think where we greatly underestimate the amount of time it takes to do a certain task, so double it to make sure

i got a bad grade in my biology report recently and hearing this helps a lot and gives me a lot more motivation to keep trying in bio, because it's a subject i care about a lot. thank you :)

The "staying were you are is okay" advice was SO HELPFUL to me cause I'm always pushing myself to do more even though I like how things are the way they are

Okay but my thing is that I say: “at 3pm I’m gonna finish all my tasks” and then at 3pm I’m still on my first task and it’s so frustrating cuz I really try. For some reason I take too long doing things that most people finish in 2 hours.

Short question! Could you maybe do a video on how to relax without feeling guilty? And just for the sake of relaxing, not to use it as a tool to boost your productivity? Cause that’s something I’ve been struggling with, and many times when I take a break I’m still thinking about what I just learned (which I don’t mind, I actually like that) but also already thinking about what I’ll have to do next, which is just…not that pleasant

Remember these FOUR important steps of Time Management:
- *REDUCE*
- *PRIORITIZE*
- *PLAN*
- *EXECUTE*

constant growth isn’t realistic- thank you so much for this. There’s no problem with being satisfied with where you are and the goals you’ve accomplished. Growth is valuable, but constantly striving and struggling isn’t always necessary
