What's up everyone?! I hope this long-term review of the 5th generation M1 iPad Pro was helpful. Did I cover what you wanted to know? What else did you want to see or learn about?

I bought the 12.9 1tb with the intentions of getting back into my art and basic video editing. Almost a year later and I’m still just watching YouTube on it and playing Minecraft 😂

I think this is the best iPad Pro in recent years. With 5G, XDR displays and M1, this product can be used for a long time. I can't think of any major improvements in the next generation.

I purchased the ipad pro 12.9 with the idea of using it for college and content creation. But the lack of desktop apps like adobe creative cloud and an addition of logitech combo case made its price near to the new MacBook pro M1 which doesn't justify the lack of apps

I Opted out for the 11 inch. I've had 2 previous generations of the 12.9 cellular ipad pro and I'm confident I will not need the same at this time, I never used cellular feature, and they were too large for portability for my preference. I couldn't tell the difference in screen resolution between the 11 and 12.9 as they were side by side on display so i thought to myself what the heck! The 256 wifi 11 inch is perfectly priced for me, as it was on sale. Also, I have the 16 inch M1 MacBook pro which satisfies my needs for a larger screen and superb resolution with the XDR technology and processing power galore. Plus I can screen mirror the ipad into the macbook and it looks like a 15 inch XDR ipad display. I'm happy!!!

I purchased the 11 inch as I travel quite a bit for work. I’m really happy as I use it for work and play. I do wonder if the 12.9 would have been better as I use sidecar for that second monitor and while the 11 inch screen is okay, I would prefer a larger 2nd display.

I have the 12.9 M1 iPad and use it for work when on the go. I leave my MacBook at home now.

For fun I use it to make animation videos. The export times are much better than my older non pro ipad. So they was a big reason to upgrade. Also the screen size.

I did install beta version on my MacBook and ipad to test out universal control and it’s the best. Being able to jump from my Mac to iPad is much better than having side car. You can use the iPad apps will still using Mac OS. I don’t think I’ll ever switch back to windows now.

is the difference between the 12.9 inch and 11 inch ipad pro displays noticeable just when watching HDR content? How about other time? like searching the web, taking notes, etc.

I have the 2018 iPad Pro 12.9 inch, and it is still working fine for me. I don’t see a need to upgrade just yet, because the apps/software are still fairly limited for the power of the device.

I upgraded from an 11 inch 2018 iPad Pro to the M1 12.9 in.. I am so happy I did! I find myself picking it up more than my computer. I use it with the Logitech keyboard

Just got an 11” M1 iPad Pro for school and I have no regrets. I was an Apple Pencil skeptic but it is definitely worth it. My backpack is so much lighter and doing schoolwork is super convenient. Only thing is that I would have preferred Touch ID tbh

The biggest thing I keep coming back to with wanting to get this tablet when I have the 11” model 4th gen?(whatever the newest one was before the M1 chip) I have no complaints at all about hardware in terms of ability to do anything. I like the size the 12.9 seemed just too big, however the mini led….. the fact that the brightness can get that much better… I sit outside in my rocking chair and just enjoy the day while watching Netflix or something. The screen brightness just too often is not enough and requires shade to be visible. I’m willing to pay the couple hundred more for that, since it is my actual only complaint, I’d see keeping the tablet for at least four years. So that 2-3 hundred more seems worth it to me.

I have had the iPad Pro 12.9 inches since July of last year. I love it! I followed your recommendations last summer and ordered it from my local Apple Store. It’s the best Apple product I have ever bought! It’s truly awesome!!

Magic Keybaord refresh is all I’m wanting; I use an Air 4 with a Logitech Combo Touch and although I like the functionality it offers over the Magic Keyboard, I’ve unfortunately had way too many bugs using it over the last year and a half from trackpad jumps or non-registering keys all together. Selling my Air 4 for a loss to for an M1 12.9 with a Magic Keyboard is tempting but I really feel the next gen Magic Keyboard is coming sooner than later. Also, having the camera centered for horizontal use on the next gen Pro would also be a welcome addition.

Nice video:) I love the iPad Pro 12, 9 m1 (with magic keyboard). I actually tried to switch to iPad air, but I didn't work for me. the beautiful display, Face ID, size and power of m1. I hope that apple will do something about the western monitor part soon. Would be cool to connect your pro to one of the upcoming apple display.. again really like your videos..

Great video, I love my M1 iPad Pro 12.9, but the software is really holding the iPad back from being a powerhouse of a tablet. I understand they don't want to cannabalize macbook sales, but they could have added more laptop features. I also can't justify spending $350 on a keyboard that is not friendly to use with the apple pencil.
