The gradient can only be applied to scalar function.

The div can only be applied to vector functions.

The curl can only be applied to vector functions.

But what about the laplacian?

😊I am not sure about it, it might be applied to both. Is it true ?

How we know the flux out is great than flux in and div. Will be greater than zero if there is no this box and just function of velocity or any parameters of fluid ??

What if the vector field s defined by z ihat? I think it confuses students if they think the ihat always uses x, j always uses y etc.
