Enjoying the videos, but most of them seem to me like recipe math, it's mostly just plugging expressions into other expressions, do you have any resources for more general problems? For example, if you were to show this identity without an explicit given field.

I want to ask instead of taking F and f to be parabola can I take them as straight line.
If not then why?
