The j component in the curl problem suppose to be minus, it is the same as finding the determinant of a matirx

For the curl it’s + - +… for finding the determinants

Hello everyone .. in the first step of grad f calculation there is a typo. Second term there is meant to be df/dy instead of df/ dx but that doesn’t propagate to next step as I have followed the correct form during the calculation. So, everything is correct. Please sit down and do the calculation carefully to be able to appreciate what’s going on.

ii) Answer is suppose to be = -i(y) +j(z) - k(x), because normally when we do the cross products its always |+i -j +k|
