How to Install a Rear View Backup Camera | Step by Step Installation & Buying Guide

It's easy to add an aftermarket rearview backup camera to any vehicle, they're a great safety and convenience feature that give you a clear view of what is behind your vehicle while in reverse.

Most cameras are universal, meaning they will work with any vehicle, but there are also vehicle specific camera options for select makes and models of cars.
A double din Car Stereo is the most common monitor used, but stock screens can also be used but will require a vehicle specific harness or interface. Mirror Monitors and standalone monitors are the easiest to install because they don't require taking apart the dash or replacing the stereo.

I saw that you routed the cable threw airbag panel at 13:14 , the cable now in front of the airbag
Won't it prevent proper deployment of the air bag ? may be the better option is to remove the panel to rout it behind it ?

Great video, Quick question, can you tap 2 wires (1- rear camera, 2- parking sensor) to the reverse light? If yes is it okay to tap them into one area or should i tap them separately?
