I am getting between 55 and 60+ with proper tires proper pressure. There is always battery in reserve for quick acceleration even if it shows empty. Under realistic conditions the car will always deliver the promised torque and the bellow 6 sec, acceleration.

Hello Mark, delighted to see your driving impression of the CX-60. You mention there is very little body roll. Most of the reviews I've seen so far claim there is a lot of body roll. Glad to hear your impression. This is a seriously impressive car from such a small car company. Looking forward to the future of Mazda. Thanks for the review, keep up the great work!

Straight to the point review. Thanks.
Currently driving a 530e and was looking for more space. Have always loved the Mazda brand. Great looking car and lots of spec. I was really disappointed with how it drove and especially after getting back into the 5 series. I felt my own car was miles ahead. Also drove the Volvo XC60 - needs an update. Finally, I took the Lexus NX 450h+ and I was massively impressed. Drove just like the 5 series plus gave me the extra space I need.
Perhaps a software update can fix the Mazda but for now, when compared with the Lexus - the Lexus wins. Now I'm torn between a Model Y and the NX 450h+.

Cheers for the driving review...I actually test drove it 3 times to make sure I really liked it I DO....drove lexus nx phev and volvo S60 phev to compare and the mazda wins...Lexus probably shades it on most comfortable to drive but then the Mazda is a sportier drive, has a better interior finish and has the most space plus about 5-7 k cheaper....Volvo is nice inside but its quite dated looking now and its too expensive for what it is...If Mazda get the message out correctly this car will be a big hit..Ordered it 2 weeks ago for March delivery...Got takumi spec as its spec list and interior fit and finish are top notch...

Hi Nobby. I drive a Mazda CX 5 and I love it. Was looking at this as in general I just drive Mazdas. However u have kind of put me off with the jerking between power changes. At over 60 grand I just don't want that. I'm confused now. Might stay with the Cx 5. Great review ....cheers, g

Great review. I’m contemplating one of these and was concerned about the transition from electric to petrol. I have one on test next weekend. Other option is waiting for the straight six petrol but not sure when that’s going to hit the UK market. Keep up the great reviews.

8, 5l / 100km. I do 7l/100km on my diesel. Why should I change to hybrid when it consume so much petrol?

On their website, they claim 2.1L/100km… Guess Diesel is the better option as it is 15k cheaper in Australia.

Good Review ! Are Mazda still going ahead with the 3 ltr 6 cyl diesel in Ireland ? What size is the fuel tank and will it be mild hybrid?

If it had 100km electric and a 1.5l I would be in. But 2.5 and 40km electric range is the wrong combo if you ask me. Ah anyway, it a nice car for sure, just seems a bit behind the curve.

Great review. I’m shocked at the fuel economy on this car. 8.5L/100km is terrible in this day and age, especially on a hybrid.

There was one thing I wanted to ask from your last video covering the CX-60. You mentioned that in EV mode the acceleration is nothing to shout home about. How would you rate the all electric acceleration to other PHEV’s you’ve test driven? Mazda doesn’t exactly give a 0-60 time for the electric mode.

I live in a very hilly city and my work commute requires a hill climb at highway speeds for nearly 10km. I’m curious how this car would perform in such a scenario.

Looking forward to your response.

Ok I have watched this twice now and I must keep missing it.. What do you mean about your knees "not so much"? Low leg room in front?

Hi, great video! Quick question: not so long ago you test drove the Lexus NX 450h+. Which car would be your preference (I realise of course that the Lexus is a more expensive car)? Thanks!

8.5 l/100km ?! Wow. It must be a terrible hybrid implementation

Yikes!!! The fuel consumption 8.6ltrs and 40klm range on such a big battery. Going backwards there.

Hi mark, did you drive it in engine re charge? If so did the fuel economy drop by much? Thanks Sean

EV Petrol change is not very smooth. confirmed not the best. I get hard jerks sometimes, to be clarified with mazda
I am getting 6.8l/100km living on hilly contry side. 900m above sea level
Ride is not very smooth, its sporty, handles great in my opinion. Love it or live with it.
RWD bias, fun. Cant shut off TCS to drift in snow mazda
Battery goes within seconds on EV mode when climbing hills.

This is not a Lexus fighter.... This is an Acura fighter, welcome to Japanese "near" luxury ...

Shcoked at the fuel economy. That translates to a little over 27mpg. Thats insanely bad!!!
