This is the original version, but the label gave it to Maxine Brown who had the hit with it. This is truly a rare that treat as both Doris and Shirley led on the same song! And they did a great job and this HD version delivers the goods!

Wow. Doris was always the strongest voice in The Shirelles with obvious gospel roots. A pity she didn't lead on most of their hits. Nice to hear her leading this King/Goffin classic.
