Rate hikes are inevitable...but why and what legal law gives the the right to request 50% of the renewal payment premium if you pay monthly. Elderly and fixed income people are hit a first bill 3 times the monthly payment. This commissioner, Ricardo Lara is allowing this?

Damn mine just went from 1019 for 6 month for 2 cars to 1600 starting this month. I went from playing 171 a month to 243. Its a damn shame.

We need to start a bill, as the people, forwarded to someone that can truly represent us, that does not allow them to hike up business prices. Or at least have a cheaper option for those with dashcam’s and everyone else can have a 30% increase.

What did you expect? You voted for politicians who are pushing EVs that are expensive to repair. They are also raising energy costs, minimum wages, etc., that drive up overall inflation which also impact the costs of repairs. Did you really think that all the inflation you were supporting with your votes was not going to get around to you in the form of auto insurance rate increases, rent increases, food cost increases, etc? You may be broke, but you are saving the climate and ensuring fast food workers get paid enough to make it a career job, so rejoice as you are getting what you wanted.
