Auto insurance companies seek rate hikes in NJ

Many New Jersey drivers are getting messages from their insurance companies that their rates could be rising. Allstate has asked state regulators to raise rates by 29% and GEICO has asked for a 26% increase. Higher rates are being sought for multiple reasons, including the fact that insurance companies are trying make up for rates that were frozen during the pandemic.

here in az in may my insurance for 6 mounths 774 for full car insurance on a 2013 Mazda6 500 deductible... just got the bill last night 914 for six months same coverage at 20% increase I have a perfect driving record perfect driving history prepare for insurance to go up everywhere ... I dropped the collision but my car still worth about 8 to 9 k what's another $140 for six months I already tried a different insurance carrier they want even more they want $1200 ish for six months.. I would go with just minimum coverage but it's a big risk for me.. I'm not even sure if I should raise my deductible to 1000 if it's gonna really make a difference , my insurance I think is 100, 000 300, 000 100, 000 something like that yeah you need to have higher coverage than 15 or 25, 000 a tesla is 100k do you need to have insurance that covers it
