There is already a pretty handy feature in portainer which enables updating containers very easily! That alone is a feature which should everyone prefer portainer over OMVs build-in docker utility. In portanier GUI click: Containers -> Select Container -> Click “Recreate” followed by “Pull latest image”. That pulls the latest image for the container and redeploys the container with that latest image. 
Maybe you could make an updated video on this, thanks.

Hi Techno Dad Life, thanks for alle good Openmediavault and Docker video howtos. It helped me to try and install new docker containers, such as portainer, heimdall and netdata. I already used tvheadend, emby and unifi containers. I agree with you, portainer brings a lot of advanced features, but the omv-docker-plugin is much more simpler and easier to use for the most people. Anyway it looks like omv5 won't have an own docker plugin web ui integration. But let's wait and see... It would be great if you could provide a howto video, which describes how to use the portainer function "Create Image". Thanks, keep up the good work and regards Hoppel

Love your videos, but you could do a little more explaining. For example, why did you choose Bridge over Host on this case? Or give us a "generic" way to install any container just following the info page, no matter server or raspberry. Just a thought. But keep up the very good work.

Do you know of a way to leave docker turned off until you decrypt/unlock your drive? I have issues with Docker crashing on startup because my drives are encrypted. Issue doesn't happen when I don't use LUKS.

It looks like we have no other choice than to use the Portainer since they removed the Docker from Services tab.

My Future Projects are Pihole(Runs on an PI atm ^^) Openhab (also runs on an pi) Contact and Calender server
But i have no time at the moment maybee at the end of the year.
