I had literally spent DAYS trying different things to try to get my network share to mount properly. This guy's solution solved my issue in under 2 MINUTES!!! Wow! A huge THANK

Thank you for posting this Video! I almost had a stroke trying to figure this out on my own. (I'm a Docker newbie.)

Thx that seems Interested. Is this necessary to use it this way?
I did add volume instantly in tabblad "volumes" inside containers and used "bind" function in stead of "volume"
But with bind my settings are gone after Restart

I have hard time understanding where the docker volumes reside? No documents mention it clearly. For example, for portainer example it says portainer_data volume is mounted at /data but it is not a location that I can find on my ubuntu. Do you have any input on this? Thanks!

I'm new to this and need help. I have a NAS folder I like to keep data in just incase the application is updated and I lose my settings. Example Dashy I lose my icons after a new update is applied. I'm able to create the volume but adding it to the container is where I'm having the problem. I see the custom volume from the pull down menu, I don't know what to enter for the container right above it (e.g. /path/in/container). Any help would be great.

I don't care about creating a CIFS volume. try putting that in the title.
