Man i remember getting mine pulled as a kid. They told me to count back from 10 to 1. I only got to seven, and remember waking up slightly in a wheel chair, before the first time I’m fully awake, I got a mouth full of bloody cotton, and I’m hollering in pain due to the numbing medicine wearing off. The corner store clerk gave me ice cream to deal with the soreness for two days. Really memorable.

Edit: Geeze I was not expecting for this comment to get so much attention. So what I've learned is that everyone has different experiences with their wisdom teeth removal. So it could either be hell or it could be tolerable. Now I'm slightly scared to get them removed in a couple years.

I remember when mine were taken out I woke up crying for my little turtle plushie's safety because I had dreamt that a bunch of literal molars dressed as pirates had kidnapped her. The whole car ride home was me mumbling, crying about my turtle and that we had to hurry home so I could make sure she was still safe in my room. Parents were cracking up the whole time.

oh my god this happened with my sister! she got her wisdom teeth out and as my brother was driving her home, she was crying and begging for a particular food that he knew we didn’t have at home, that she would want later. so he drove to the grocery store, had her stay in the car, and got her boyfriend on the phone to talk to her while he went in to buy the food. shortly into the call she was like “🥺 my brother’s been gone for so long… where is he? did he forget me in here? is he ever gonna come back?” and her boyfriend had to remind her “we’ve only been on the phone for 3 minutes. he just left.”

When i got mine removed so i could get braces. I didnt get laughing gas, numbed me up and went in cutting. I was listening to music on my headphones and at one point, i decided to pet my dentists head as he was activly ripping the teeth out of my jaw.
