Don't eat solid foods when you just got your wisdom teeth out!! You have literal open wounds in your mouth in which food could get stuck and cause an infection. It's not about the pain. It's about keeping the wound safe..

I’m on day 2. Did well on Anastasia (make sure to tell them peeps if you’re getting you WT 🦷 done) if you get nauseous after that say you get nauseous or it runs in the family they’ll give you a nausea med it helps so much. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.
- also I didn’t laugh like some other people maybe they can’t handle “fun” drugs idk 🤷🏻‍♀️ the drs were shocked I was walking & just chillin. 🤣
My face did not bloat, I personally suggest only liquid food the day after all literal liquid like yogurt, apple sauce, ice cream & protein drinks. You don’t want things to get stuck or cause complications and then on week 2 I say soft foods. Like eggs, more soup with noodles, & etc. putting shock isn’t good especially day after. This is my first surgery & I am healing CRAZY good hardly any bloating. Also ice packs & cold water & coconut water helps a ton! And pineapple juice ONLY the day before your surgery. If you drink it after surgery it can complicate things & it’s acidic & will swell you up more, it can also cause you to burst blood clots. So I wish all of you luck on your surgeries! 🖤🖤🖤

They do one side at a time so the healing process is easier, trust me. You dont want all done at once. because then there is no alternate side for you to rely on with chewing... for almost 2 and a half weeks I have been chewing everything with my front teeth, I had 4 wisdom teeth and 2 bottom molars removed in one go.

I just got all 4 taken out in about an hour, the right side was more complicated so i have minimal swelling in the left side but the RIGHT.... Ive got a golf ball sized cheek.

I got my top wisdom teeth removed on Monday, and I actually like that better. So far my recovery is going well. I can’t imagine all four being taken out in oneday. I would have to take a week or two off work.

I got my wisdom teeth out last year and I had ice cream, a ginger ale, crepes, cheesy egg with buttered toast, Mac and cheese and a strawberry blizzard my grandparents got from Dairy Queen.

I have to get 8 teeth removed all in the same day 😅 I have 4 wisdom and 4 supernumerary and I’m watching these videos to make myself feel better about my upcoming surgery

I don't think is just an American thing. I'm from Brazil and when I had the surgery, I also did it in two parts, two teeth at a time.

On day 7 after getting all four removed. Haven’t tried anything solid yet but I’ve had flu like symptoms with tonsillitis for a few days 🙄 I want a burger so bad

I had mine done twice because I woke up having a nightmare the first time because they didn’t check my medication history 😊 the second time was under anesthesia
