I hooked up my iPad to an older Apple Mac Book Pro. I opened iTunes and followed all the instructions. Everything seemed to work but after restoring & update I keep getting an error message and the restoring would fail. I tried this about seven times and I finally quit and decided to hook up the iPad to my newer PC desktop. I followed the same instructions and opened iTunes on the Window PC and the process worked on the first try. It restored the iPad and installed the new firmware flawlessly. Thank you.

Great video!! Uncle / Dad here: 2 year old son locked 6 year old nephew out of his iPad. Teaches nephew not to leave his things where a baby can get to it. Teaches Uncle / Dad how to fix this problem. Solid work brother!

Thank you so much so 5 years ago something heavy dropped on my iPad it wasn’t cracked that bad but near the home button in was really sharp so my parents said not to use it.But today I decided to try and fix it and I just put tape on the cracked parts and charged it (took a long time) BUT I couldn’t remember the PASSWORD so I watched this video and YES IT DID WORK ThX SO MUCH
