YEs but some iPads don’t have lock iPad or finger id because of how old they r also u need to set it up in settings first but it is helpful to the ppl who forgot they have id but for most ppl they don’t I’m pretty sure when my iPad locked out I went app, e store then they reset the password hope this messages helped❤

I dont think this is real. They either used Touch ID or they set the iPad to have no passcode and unlocked it with the home button.

Actually, on Settings, you need to use your fingerprint

You actually need fingerprint just in case the iPad is lost and old but it’s found then what if you forget the passcode that’s why you need fingerprint on your iPad

That doesn’t all way work say just turn it on fingerprint is disabled until password put in so this is not useful at all

Touch ID only works if you have been using it if ipad has been shut off Touch ID will not work and only password works..

I have iPad Pro and I just lock myself out it will say forgot passcode I click that I type in a new one verify it then type it to get in that is some help for iPad pros if you ever get locked out
