I believe that having children is beautiful and rewarding. The one area where I agree with these people is that you are creating life without their consent. Therefore, you have a responsibility to take care of your offspring until they are self sufficient.

Bringing life into the world and then neglecting or abusing that life is the ultimate evil.

P.S: Also, thank you very much MentisWave for making this video. Ever since I saw this subject on SolarSands, which is basically a channel for edgy, weirdly mainstream philosophy like antinatalism, I've been worried that it would catch on. Now, knowing that a lot of people know it and have seen it refuted eases my mind quite a lot.

I can put it best like this.

I grew up with an abusive mother who wanted to abort me, ridiculed me for needing to learn, and throwing every dollar away she ever got on Drugs and Partying.

I am 5 years removed from that nightmare, and guess what. I am happy, I work on my hobbies and enjoy my job.
Despite having spent 15 years of my life in misery, I am free now. And these last 5 years of freedom have been amazing, and I made it as such through my own hard work and drive.

Im a bit anti-natalist.
Mostly because I come from India. A country thats overpopulated to all hell.
Im born American, but iv visited some relatives there. The conditions are deplorable, and theres no way out. Its hellscape on par with 40k.

Every job that could be automated, has been outsourced.
No shit we cant get liveable wages no more. All our jobs get shipped off to overpopulated ass countries like China and India.

America and Europe dont need to reduce their population.
But the third world desperately does.
Access to abortion, birth control, and whatnot is important.
