I had knee replacement surgery end of August last year. Did all those exercises before & after surgery. It was tough but worth it, I can walk fast, no pain & not bow legged anymore. Best thing I did.

Any videos on young fit 40 year olds who did prehab and was very fit before a partial or full knee replacement. I’m 4 weeks post op from a partial knee and progressing fast but would like to see more videos for younger fit people. These PTA’s are very good.

Hi. Thank you for this super helpful video. I have been practising this past week and my walking has definitely got better. Thank you so much 🙂

The step ups and step down should be done on a stool large enough for the whole foot to be on the stool. The heel should not be hanging off on the step ups.

I am in 12 weeks of my both knees replaced, but I am not able to walk confidently! Sometimes when I am standing I trip backwards or front. I can walk without holding anything only I do not bend my knees, walk comfortably without bending knees as I loose valance always bending my knees.

Wow! Thanks I just had my knee replacement in December 2019. I’m still working on my knee. These are great exercise since I can’t go to physical Therapy.

Thanks! These work great for my more invasive knee arthroscopy that included partial menisectomy and a larger incision for removing a massive loose body. Slower progress than usual arthroscopy but right in line with the recovery period of total knee replacement. These progressive guides are way better than the instructions given by the hospital.

I’m 3 months after total knee replacement, the outer side of leg is in constant pain, like cramps. It has to do with how I stand on my operated leg. Can you suggest exercises to correct this? I started doing the “after 8 weeks routine”, some exercises are still hard…. Thanks in advance for your input!

Thanks for these tips. I’m 6 weeks post-op for TNR, great range of motion and extension and getting bored with the home exercises, so adding a few new ones should help. When I go to PT I end up using machines that I don’t have access to otherwise and in a way that’s not helpful for the daily grind.

I had a right TKR 8 days ago and am already doing all these exercises so suck it

Quite good. Must comment though, try not to stand with your arms crossed all the time as if you are not really interested and actually doing this video was boring for you.

Just a small point.. In the #2, sit to stand exercise, Mike says if your left leg is strong you may push off like this.... and he bends stronger on the weak left side. Sorry for being picky Mike.
