These are the best majors you need to take in college if you want to get a job in the tech industry.

For context: I know which majors to take in college after being in the tech industry since I was 16 years old and helping 100s of others break into the tech industry,

So it’s safe to say that if you pick any one of these majors then you’ll increase your chances of getting into the tech industry and never having to worry about a job for the rest of your life.

I’m a major in cybersecurity and AI. Many people told me it was a scam and don’t do it, but i did it anyway. Every-time I listen to people trying to help. I end up missing out. I’m half way through been having issues finding internships and jobs while in school, but I’m sticking to it.

Thanks, Symone.

I’ve started building a platform to help students choose a major based on real-life experiences shared by others in school and in their jobs. Some of the key information for students will include how hard the major is, job satisfaction, whether people recommend the major, salary after graduation, promotion opportunities, cost of the major, and more. The goal is to give students enough information before they pick a major.

I think it’s a good idea. I'm almost done building it, and it will be completely free. My goal, Symone, is to help as many people as possible make better choices when choosing a major that can lead to a successful career.

Thanks again, Symone.

Great video Beez! I’m starting college in the spring and was crazy tied between computer science and IT. I chose IT because it’s not as math intensive but I’ve been preparing myself and reviewing and testing myself in these subjects and have been doing exceptionally well. I’ve been thinking to myself if I should rlly push myself and go for it. I’ll be starting as a freshman and have a couple months left before If I choose to change my mind. I’m 30, funding you and others and studying y’all videos have been great for myself and I’m sure as others. We need y’all out here to keep us entertained with meaningful content while we out here grinding 😂. Thanks 🙏🏾

While I'm going into accounting, she is right on point. I have an internship at EY, BakerTilly, and I am working on one with PwC. And yes, I got my security as well in the process.

It's super important to network while you're in college. When I did my Undergrad, I did lots of community work & thought that was enough. It wasn't I did develop my veterans network which was hugely beneficial. Now that I'm doing my Masters I see people making the same mistake of not networking and they're going to see after graduation that they have all these credentials and no network.

Getting the degree is the first step to getting in tech. Don’t think it will guarantee a job you still have to grind - a cs grad
