For computer science it depends on the state you're in and the company you work for. Small companies don't pay that much and outsourcing companies are even worse. States like Wisconsin, Kentucky, etc... also pay a LOT less than what people on the coasts get (excluding the southern east coast).

That's IF you can land a job after 16+ years in schooling. Most of those jobs require job experience too so they're basically screwed. And you know those nerds don't have great social skills so good luck with talking your way into a job. My brother has his doctorates in mechanical engineering and he's struggling to find a job that pays more than $25 hourly. His student debt is eating him alive. So with that, what companies offee $106k?

I'm not even in a trade, nor do I have any college education, yet I make the same or more than 7 of those 10 degrees. Save yourself the money and find the plenty of jobs and careers that will easily pay 6 figures without a degree. All a degree shows, except for a very small handful of things, is that your money management is poor since you're putting yourself into major debt to make the same or less to those without all that debt. Colleges love suckers because that's how they make money. They couldn't care less about you as a person.

I dropped out of college got a paid apprenticeship as an operating engineer finished it and I just cleared 163k for 2023.
I make about twice as my grad friends. Plus job pays for all benefits nothing ever comes out of my check.
