0:53 The sound design for Emi is so perfect. She sounds like a kaiju, but at the same time like a laughing toddler!

As wholesome as it is it would terrify me to see a giant baby creature playing baseball

Wholesome moment of Ken teaching Emi how to play the baseball.

This movie felt like a fresh of solid air; littered with an abundance of easter egg references from Godzilla and the Monsterverse to iconic game titles towards a new introduction of Ultraman to where Human BECOMES Ultraman instead of it being the other way around as we get a completely new, original storytelling put on a great art style that certainly got inspired by Spiderverse's success.

however speaking for the scene, I too did shed tears for such a bonding moment between father and daughter. ( even though his daughter is a kaiju )

Ultraman Rising is the redemption for when the original Ultraman beat up a pacifist Kaiju, tied him up to a rocket and send him out in space to be freezed to death and they pretended it was a good ending for the poor thing.

Who ever designed Emi crying here is a genius because whenever a kid is crying if you look closely they cry with big tears. I know it sounds far fetched but it's true.

At 00:22, 23 and 24 you can see tear marks too

Watching it with the vietnamese sub, he actually sees Emi as his child whenever he talks to her toward the end. Like, whenever he said "Emi". The vietsub will translate it into "baby"
