Well now the new best Mario is Tannoki Mario and Mario is the 2nd best Mario in Mario kart 8 deluxe since Tannoki Mario got a .25 mini turbo increase making him almost identical to the Yoshi class, but Tannoki Mario has slightly more weight and slightly less traction.

And in Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, i've been mostly playing as Gold Mario.
