Perfect time* to unearth your channel! Parcelling out the rehab exercises into three categories is such a great idea. Your video has one other invaluable asset: your voice. There is optimism in your voice. An injured dude or dudette wants nothing more - aside from real world rehab specifics - than to be assured they are on the road to recovery. Knowledge and optimism; a powerful combo.

* The ultrasound my GP scheduled will reveal the precise nature of my injury - my hunch is a grade one level injury to anterior deltoid and long head of the biceps.

The most unsettling thing was the beginning when I heard a sudden ‘pop’ (grade 3 muscle tear horror stories dominated my thoughts). I calmed down significantly after maniacal sessions of ice/heat, research, testing and continual reassessment.

Then I discovered your channel! Lucky dude am I.

All the best from beautiful Vancouver, Canada!

The movement at 15:30 Should i keep doing this movement (but with less resistance until it feels better) if it causes slight pain?
Great video at the perfect timing

Hi Mr Burke,

I wanted your opinion on my medical case. Sorry its on meniscus related issue. I think you can help me . Please guide sir.

One morning i woke up and I had true knee lock and swelling, way back in 2007 when i was 17 yrs old one. Swelling went away in a week but there was catching of knee with some small round shape body once a while but it was manageable since i used to manoeuvre that small piece with my fingers and it used to go away and I was fine and good to go.

But over the years every once a while maybe i can say when i played badminton intensively. It used to swell a little and i used to give it rest and avoid that . But surprisingly over the years i trekked a mountain, scuba dived, did everything, climbed stairs . This felt fine.

Now just a week ago i am feeling that something has changed in knee a little . Its very very mild mild sensation in lateral side knee when i climb stairs. I am giving it time and climbing stairs with other leg. Its not paining as such but mild discomfort in climbing in lateral side of knee portion but walking is fine .even sitting on english toilet is fine since it requires little squatting ..

What should i do..my main worry is its 17 yrs i have pulled on with this tear over these years.. will i get arthritis if i dont get surgery done or since i dont have locking or swelling or intense pain as such i should wait and watch it and give it time again to heal.

I just want that i dont get arthritis in my 40, 50s . I am just 34 right now.

Please do guide..i really eagerly awaiting your reply and please suggest some exercise in my case.

You should make a proper dystonia exercise video for the entire body. Dystonia patients are in very much need.

Hello! I have a problem that I have trouble identifying, even after watching A LOT OF YOUR VIDEOS. It is a sharp pain on the outside of my elbow joint, however I do not think it is tennis elbow since I do not get any pain while either flexing or stretching my wrist in any direction (or very very mild). The stress for which I get the most pain is when my elbow makes 90 degree with my upper arm and i exerce an outside force which is perpendicular to my elbow+upper. Basically if I were to do a lateral raise with my arm bent at 90 degree, this is how I would feel the most pain. It is very odd as I feel the pain ONLY when my arm is at this specific angle. Would you happen to know the name of this (or if you think it is tennis elbow). I have tried resting for a month now, but with no significant improvment I think rehab is the way to go... Maybe I missed one of your videos which would cover this? Thanks for the help, and I love your channel!

"I watched your video about shoulder rehabilitation and you mentioned that the treatment involves three phases. Should I perform each phase for a specific period of time, or should I work on all three phases simultaneously? Thank you very much for this informative and helpful video!"
