I’d get a kindle 10/10 if it offered color. Would help textbooks with colors and pictures like anatomy and physiology or language books with different colors to emphasize different parts of a sentence.

Color is vital for proper annotation! You need to be able to highlight in different colors to denote different things.

Manga works great on a Kindle already since those are black and white but color is the one feature that would get me to upgrade from my current one. Being able to read ALL comics on a Kindle the way they were meant to be seen would be great.

As a graphic designer, I would love to have a color Kindle to read graphic books with colorful designs. It's more convenient than switching from Kindle to normal tablet just to read graphic books 😅. 7-8 inch is the best size as I can bring it everywhere.

6 inch screen kindles are my preference. Small, very light and pocketable. Seems everyone wants bigger. Same with smart phones. Not worried about color ink displays, just give me a small ereader with all the bells and whistles of the larger ones.

This is a good feature for medical students who has a kindle as a book reference for their illustrated medical pdf books, it's easier to identify the details in human anatomy

I would like a 10” eInk Kindle screen for reading, but my need for note taking or color would be small. I’m retired ( no business needs) and I rarely read material with color pictures. That said, I would probably buy one just because I would want to have it. It’s hard to kick the habit of wanting the best Kindle available.

I’d love to see Kindle Oasis with 7.8” screen, smaller bezzels, color e-ink, USB-C and speaker (for audiobooks). That would be my absolutely ideal e-reader.

I read on the Kindle app on my IPAD, and I love it. I read daily and have purchased hundreds of ebooks on my kindle app. l thought of purchasing the Kindle E-Reader only because it is smaller and would take up less space in my purse, so I can read on it when commuting to work. Right now when commuting I read on the Kindle app on my phone and at home on my IPad. It syncs very well. When I was looking at the vlogs and reviews on the Kindle EReader, it was positive, bit I was surprised that it was all in black and white, including the book covers, I was thinking why isn’t it in color ? It just seemed a little old fashion too me. The Kindle app on my devices just looked more sleek and modern, besides that they also operate faster. I was a little turned off. But the idea of adding color to a Kindle would definitely be a +. If I were to purchase one, I would prefer color.

Absolutely! Having colored eink readers would mean all my reading will be done in one place. Webtoons, comics, mangas, Illustrated books, novels, magazines. and pdfs.

All without straining my eyes as much.

Right now they are still expensive, almost the same with an ipad but hopefully as the tech improves, the cost lowers.

I have a kindle gen 6 for many years now. It works pretty well. A color Kindle would finally make me update to a new one! 😁 I hope it comes soon!!! 🙏

I can understand why people would want to write on a Kindle-sized device. I think pen input would be a great addition.

I'm not sold on the idea of color, though. The color e-ink displays I've seen so far (including the ones in your video) look faded and washed out. Not a great look.

If the panel had both pen input *and* color as a bonus, that might be worth it. It depends on how much Amazon decides to charge for it. For me to really be interested, they'd have to seriously undercut the other players in the pen-enabled e-ink space. If they could come in around $200 with a device, I'd probably be on board.

I only read books and although seeing my library section in color would also be nice, in reality I would like is an 8-inch Kindle to read comfortably.

Children need color. and the e-ink is so much nicer for childrens eyes. I think it would be great for education and comic book use cases.
