Finally finishing off the networking side of the combat system this week with a lot of attack calculations!

I admire your dedication to this project, man. Especially with all of the recent multiplayer work, it's really coming together.

i know its what you've been using temporary as a place holder, but it kinda fits the game quite nicely

I wouldn't give it any "normal" name.... Socuwan sounds very... special.. :)

What about making the explosion damage inversely proportional to the square of  the distance from the center of the explosion?

You could also play around with these two words to make it sound even more interesting or shorter. Even if you don't like the name it would be a god method to pick a target language and change the order of the letters ;)

Also for the name I think The legend of Socuwan would be fitting, as the old name for the game was SOCUWAN (Someone Come Up With A Name).

If you want to think of a game name you might want to actually look at how the final project is going to look. Is it going to be very PvP intensive? In what specific time in history does this game take place? All those kinds of questions are needed.

Can you Show how to Import a damage animation from blender and how to code multiplayer. If not, do you know any tutorials or Websites? (YOU neednt google if not)

Great stuff, although I see difficulties with getting a beam attack to ever hit an enemy. Especially when they can just walk towards you and dance around you.

Name sugestion: "The Thin Matrix" or "The legend of The Thin Matrix"
It's simple yet elegant, and it sugest that you are the creator of the game.
And then you can build the game lore around an epic saga about some legendary object called the thin Matrix which maybe is the source of magic, or and object left by the creators of the land (maybe titans or a bunch of different gods) that provides the buildingblocks for life or something! :)

Alkmere? Adventures in Vezinoria? you should call it a random word eg: Quihi'lk that means something in one of the ingame languages- just a thought tho ;)

I get more hyped for this game every week, again good luck for your Kickstarter campaign! Shame I can't contribute more models due to my exams :(

As with the name, I always find it the hardest thing in game development, so I have no new ideas. Shame it can't be Socuwan, I secretly really liked that name, plus I'm used to it. :P
