You have no idea how happy it makes me to see you enjoying your time in London Mike! After having all of the time where travel was non-existent or extremely difficult, it's so nice to see people coming to visit us in the UK again 🇬🇧❤️

Rewatched your Singapore videos and I realized that you put the pricing on those videos. I like that you did that. Your newer videos doesn't have a price on it anymore. I understand that your pallet has evolved and so have your dish prices however, it would be nice to see how much you paid for each dish so that it gives us a better understanding on how much it will approx cost if we were to visit and try the dish.

Love your content and keep up the awesome work.

Mikey needs to hit up a Greggs when their sausage rolls and pastries come out of the oven yum. Their sandwiches are awesome too, but I'm just a poor Northener, the prices at Harrods curls my toes :)

You need to get to the places normal people eat at in the UK. You're missing so much staying in London and going to the tourist hotspots like Harrods!!! Nobody in the UK would pay that much for a sandwich!!!

Bro those sodas you're buying are NOT representative of the pricing in London lmao
You can get cans or bottles of any of the big soda brands at any supermarket for £1-2 depending on size.

So glad to see you back in the UK again. Need to see you explore more of London. We have good restaurants for all cuisines you can think of!

I bet Mike would go head over heels for Nordic sandwich cakes, especially ones featuring smoked salmon. They're a traditional savoury centrepiece on tables set for celebrations like graduation parties, weddings, etc. I know they're a thing at least in Sweden (smörgåstårta) and Finland (voileipäkakku). The really good ones, whose creation approaches an art form, are legendarily succulent. People used to identify the really skilled cooks who made a great sandwich cake and make a point out of ordering one from these trusted artisans (perhaps a bakery or a grandma).

If you're not digging into the rich variety of British cheeses out there, you're missing out.

I laughed when Mike described the sausage roll as a giant dumpling.

I visited the UK in college on a choir tour for two weeks in 2003. Everyone was bitching about the food because "McDonald's here is not like at home". I never once went into a international chain. I was asking locals "where do you like to eat?" I had an amazing time, tried some great food, hung out with awesome host families. I would definitely go again. Definitely spent literally 6 hours in Harrods. Like all day.

Cans of Coke are "around £4"?
They cost about 75-80p in Tesco/Sainsbury's nationwide.

You describe things in such a way I feel I'm actually eating them. I love that. It gives me a idea of what the experience would be like.

I am from England and the way you describe a sausage is so strange to me, I thought everyone knew what a sausage roll was 😂 You are right, it is a sausage meat usually spiced or flavoured in some way and usually pork wrapped in pastry!

Mikey, you should definitely visit the King's Cross area next time as there are lots of nice eating places and restaurants there as well. For a posh Chinese try A.Wong in Victoria, the only 2*Michelin Chinese restaurant in the UK.

As an Australian, watching Mike describe what a sausage roll was, then watching him eat it with a fork was a lot to take in

There's a sugar tax in the UK to discourage the excess consumption of sugar in soft drinks etc. So, they're more expensive and also less sweet.

£12 for a sarnie?! Us brits think £3.50 for a meal deal is pricey 😂

Watching someone for years eat the widest variety of food on this channel, experience a sausage roll for the first time brought a smile to my face! Considering I probably have one a day 😂

Mike's eating at the one place 95% of us British people can't afford to go to 😂 Thanks! Try out a local chicken shop haha

People are out here losing their jobs and on the brink of homelessness and this guy is having the time of his life. I can’t enjoy content like this anymore.

The Harrods rotisserie chicken sandwich is very tender and succulent, hope you tried that. Diet coke in cans or bottles is about £2 in most convenience stores and the metro supermarkets even in London.

Mike, over here in United Kingdom, crispy aromatic duck is what it is called, self made UK thingy. It is mostly deep fried and served together with meat unlike Peking duck. All Chinese restaurants and takeaway have them, even supermarkets.
